De curand m-am întâlnit cu un prieten, proaspăt întors dintr-un scurt pelerinaj în Israel. Arăta un pic schimbat fată de momentul ultimei noastre întâlniri si era chiar usor bronzat, radiind o stare de multumire si încântare greu de ascuns. L-am rugat să îmi povestească prin ce minune s-a hotărât el să meargă în Israel fiindu-mi cunoscută părerea lui nu tocmai bună despre rolul actual al vestigiilor sacre din această tară. Când un om care nu aprecia prea tare locurile sfinte din Israel tocmai îti spune că s-a întors din acea tară si când il vezi radiind de multumire nu poti să nu te miri.
Mi-a povestit apoi că s-a hotărât brusc să meargă, desi fusese invitat de câteva luni. S-a trezit la un moment dat din somn si si-a spus că trebuie să meargă în Israel. Dupa o săptămână punea piciorul pe aeroportul Ben Gurion din Tel Aviv, în tot acest timp reusind să îsi reînnoiască pasaportul expirat, să facă rost de bilet de avion si de banii necesari pentru sejur.
În mod normal când călătoresti cu EL Al-ul, compania israeliană de transport aerian, esti supus unor controale drastice, datorate numeroaselor tentative de deturnari sau atentate comise de dusmanii evreilor. Asa ca si-a luat toate măsurile de prevedere si s-a prezentat conform instructiunilor la imbarcare pe aeroport cu 3 ore inainte de decolare. Dupa un control minim al actelor, personalul i-a dat liber la imbarcare fără a avea curiozitatea de a se uita macar in treacat in bagajele sale. Totul in 25 de minute! Începutul era nesperat de bun!
A urmat apoi zborul extrem de lejer, parcurs cu un Boeing 737 – serie 600 si o aterizare frumoasă in Israel.
Aici a obtinut viza de sedere în câteva minute, dar asta nu l-a mai impresionat prea tare pentru că deja se obisnuise cu minunile.
A fost preluat de soferul unui taxi cu care luase legătura in prealabil si transportat spre locul unde urma să se cazeze. In drum a făcut o escală la biserica Sf. Gheorghe din Ierusalim unde s-a rugat pentru ajutor si îndrumare. A încercat si o incursiune la Biserica Tăcerii, dar se pare că încă nu era momentul ca să fie acceptat în acel lăcas spiritual.
După o calatorie scurta a ajuns la una din mânăstirile românesti din Israel, unde a fost cazat în niste conditii deosebite. Aproape că se simtea ca într-un hotel de 4 stele, înconjurat de gresie, faiantă si marmură, iar palmierii exotici care răsăreau din colturile curtii mănăstirii creau o atmosferă de vis.
A doua zi, dimineata, a plecat linistit si nerăbdător spre locurile pe care îsi propusese să le viziteze. A fost impresionat de biserica Lacrima, construită pe locul unde Christos a plâns pentru locuitorii din Ierusalim.
A fost cutremurat de grota unde Christos a rostit pentru prima dată rugăciunea Tatăl Nostru, loc pe care acum se ridică o impresionantă biserică. Efectele singurei rugăciuni indicate de El sunt uriase si deocamdată oamenii nu prea cunosc forta acestei invocatii. Multi se intitulează crestini, dar ei doar au trecut prin ritualul botezului si în rest nu prea fac nimic din ce ar trebui să facă un adevărat crestin.
A doua zi, povesteste prietenul meu, am plecat dimineata spre Bethleem, iar in drum ne-am oprit la biserica Sfântului Prooroc Ilie. Am fost zguduit de forta si maretia acestei biserici si am plecat mai departe ducand in suflet darul cel mai de pret al Profetului Luminii.
Următorul popas l-am facut lângă Bethleem la manastirea sfântului Theodosie cel Mare. Aici am simtit in suflet forta testului de credintă si am inteles ca noi toti mai avem mult de mers până să întelegem ce inseamnă cu adevărat să crezi. Manastirea este construita in locul unde oala cu carbuni a sfantului Theodosie cel Mare s-a aprins singură când a ajuns in locul unde au poposit magii veniti sa aducă ofrandă Pruncului Iisus.
A urmat la rând Câmpia păstorilor asa cum este ea venerată de credinciosii ortodocsi. Am coborât intr-o mică grotă in care fusese sculptată o biserică si am simtit forta locului cum urcă ametitor in sufletele noastre. O vibratie de mare intensitate ne învăluia si ne cuprindea cu o căldură plăcută si protectoare. La iesire am simtit că ceva nu mă lasă să plec si am mai zăbovit un timp in curte, admirând un măslin cu trunchiul mai gros de doi metri, ce părea să fi fost martor la evenimentele de acum 2000 de ani. Am perceput prezenta unei inalte ierarhii spirituale pe care am identificat-o ca fiind sfântul cu al carui nume am fost botezat. Mi-am exprimat recunostiinta din adancul sufletului pentru tot ajutorul pe care l-am primit, il primesc si cu sigurantă îl voi mai primi.
Am ajuns apoi la cele doua impozante edificii spirituale care adăpostesc locul nasterii Mântuitorului în Bethleem, o biserica ortodoxă si una catolică.
Am trăit clipe înăltătoare si am perceput slava coborâtă din înaltul cerului prin gratia Duhului Sfânt, care s-a întrupat prin miracolul nasterii Fecioarei.
După un scurt ospăt cu humus si falafel la unul din restaurantele din oras, am purces mai departe spre En Karem, locul nasterii lui Ioan Botezătorul. Toti cei care merg in Tara Sfântă pentru a trăi mai mult decât un simplu pelerinaj si a gusta din bucuria inăltătoare si grea a tainelor initierii, toti ar trebui să meargă pe urmele lui Ioan Botezătorul, păstrătorul tainelor trecutului si părintele initierii, cel care si astăzi indrumă pasii celor care au curajul de a parcurge etapele initierii crestine.
Am pasit sfios pe treptele bisericii construite in locul unde s-a nascut Ioan Botezătorul si am trăit bucuria unui fir de maximă intensitate energetică.
Am incercat mai spre seara sa ajung si la manastirea construita pe locul pesterii unde a trăit Ioan, dar, portile inchise au refuzat să mă primească si am simtit in suflet apasarea unor mustrări vechi ce parcă răsăreau din negura secolelor de mult apuse. Oare de sfântul Ioan este supărat pe mine? Cu ce oi fi gresit? Am adormit răpus de o oboseală dulce si plăcută, sperând ca visele să îmi deslusească răspunsul la intrebare.
A doua zi de dimineata am mers la raul Iordan pentru a trăi împreună cu alti 10.000 de crestini miracolul botezului la slujba oficiată de Patriarhul grec si de un sobor foarte mare de preoti.
Am trăit clipe cu o stare de nedescris in cuvinte, doar sufletul meu reusind sa strângă in memoria sa bucuria inăltătoare a momentului Botezului. A fost nemaipomenit de frumos, măret si cutremurator. Am simtit că acolo o parte din mine s-a transformat brusc, ca si cum as fi fost etectrocutat si ajutat să fac un salt, să urc o scară cu trepte dificil de escaladat.
După miracolul Botezului a urmat un bonus nesperat si am reusit sa ajungem si la Marea Moarta, o mare stranie prin aspect si manifestare, aflată la o adâncimede 417 metri sub nivelul marii. Desertul si Marea Moartă plină de sare si nămol terapeutic sunt o asociere stranie si surprinzătoare, cu efecte de-a dreptul miraculoase.
Soarele răsare peste pustiul Ierihonului si drumul nostru de astăzi ne poartă spre muntele Carantania. Un munte piramidal, din piatra sfărâmicioasă, gălbuie, sălbatică si aridă, ilustrînd perfect renumele de muntele Ispitirii si completîndu-se foarte nimerit cu pustiul Ierihonului.
Aici Hristos s-a retras după momentul botezului, a flămânzit 40 de zile si a fost ispitit de cei doi stăpâni ai lumii materiale, Ahriman si Lucifer.
Am urcat cu telegondola pana la jumătatea muntelui, acolo unde oamenii au săpat în peretele din stâncă o mică manastire care apartine cultului ortodox grec. Urcăm aproape un sfert de ora pe niste poteci asfaltate dar inguste ce ne poarta spre mica manastire. La balconul aflat deasupra intrarii, sta un bătrân care tace, priveste si din cand in cand il atentionează pe celalalt călugăr aflat la poartă, dacă este cazul să deschidă poarta sau nu. Este o manastire care nu are program de vizitare si unde dacă reusesti să ajungi poti să ai surpriza să rămâi în fata unei porti ce refuză să se deschidă. Am fost norocosi si ni s-a deschis, fiind apoi condusi in interiorul manastirii pana la piatra pe care se spune că a stat Hristos când a fost ispitit. Ajuns în fata pietrei esti cuprins de o stare ce iti răscoleste si bulversează sufletul, scotând la iveală pofte, pasiuni, dorinte, tentatii, impulsuri violente pe care le credeai de mult depăsite si chiar te mândreai cu această realizare. Acolo esti ca in fata unui barometru care iti scanează sufletul si iti etalează foarte vizibil cota de rău pe care o mai ai de eliminat. Socul este puternic si pleci clătinându-te, gândindu-te cât de mult mai ai de muncit cu tine.
Apoi drumurile desertului ne poartă prin fata moscheii profetului Mousa (Moise) construită de Saladin pentru slava lui Moise, marele initiat al poporului evreu. Trecem apoi pe lângă mormântul lui Goliat si ne îndreptăm vârtos spre sud, pe drumurile ce serpuiesc lin printre colinele unde convietuiesc beduini, palestinieni si soldati israelieni.
Printre coline acoperite de maslini, curmali si vita de vie ajungem după o vreme într-unul din orasele importante ale Cisiordaniei. Strecurându-ne printre filtrele soldatilor evrei ajungem in fata unei coline, deasupra căreia tronează maiestuos si impunător o sinagogă. Când am ajuns acolo am simti o stare de nelinste si am rupt-o la fugă dorind să ajung cât mai repede cât mai aproape de clădirea impozantă. Am privit, am simtit, am trăit si mi s-a părut totul foarte cunoscut si familiar. Am trecut apoi printr-un filtru cu detectoare de metal, am fost cercetat de vreo douăzeci de soldati israelieni (din are unul era negru, un evreu din Africa, iar altul avea trasaturi asiatice si era evreu chinez!) si in sfârsit am intrat in sinagoga care adăposteste mormântului patriarhului Avraam. M-am recules in dreptul unei ferestre prin care se vedea Chivotul Legii si am refuzat politicos un evreu care imi oferea Talmudul ca sa citesc după ritualul lăsat de Moise.
Am iesit după o vreme si m-am indreptat spre aripa din dreapta a clădirii, acolo unde mă simteam puternic atras de firele nevăzute ale misterelor ancestrale. Clădirea este foarte veche si a fost pe rând manastire, moscheie si acum sinagogă. Lângă latura din dreapta am trăit scene din trecut si am inteles rapid motivul supărării sfântului Ioan Botezătorul. Acolo am revăzut o pagină din istoria nescrisă a spiritualitătii si am recunoscut greselile trecutului ce refuza să apună si se cere reparat. Avem mult de lucru!
Îngândurat, rumegam amintirile trecutului ce îsi cerea drepturile indreptatite. Masina ne duce pe nesimtite aproape in Bethleem si ajungem la cîmpul păstorilor lui Luca, unde tronează maiestuoasă o biserică aprope identică cu biserica Lacrima. Cine ajunge in Bethleem si nu isi indreaptă pasii spre câmpul păstorilor, cel venerat de catolici, nici nu isi imaginează ce pierde. Grota din spatele bisericii si locul unde se tineau slujbele in anii de inceput ai crestinismului te răscolesc si iti trasmit stări extrem de vii, ca si cum trecutul prinde viată si tu il percepi cu toată fiinta ta.
Încheiem ziua cu vizita la biserica Sfântului Mormânt si ne reculegem în fata pietrei pe care a fost asezat Hristos când a fost coborat de pe cruce.
Am avut o zi plină, a fost greu, dar sufletul tresaltă de bucurie si neliniste când retrăieste momentele si stările ce i-au adus aminte cine este si ce multe lucruri are de reparat.
Ultima zi în Tara Sfântă ne prilejuieste bucuria întâlnirii cu locul magic al Bisericii Adormirii Maicii Domnului, un loc incarcat de vibratie înaltă si plin de ecourile vechilor ceremonii initiatice desfăsurate de ordinele cavaleresti in secolele de mult apuse.
Percepem apoi cu emotie locul unde Hristos a dezvăluit cele 7 trepte ale initierii crestine si unde a dat porunca noua: Iubiti-va aproapele…! Poruncă pe care ne străduim să o realizăm de doua mii de ani si probabil va mai dura incă pe atât până vom reusi. Locul unde s-a desfasurat Cina cea de Taină are o vibratie aparte, înaltă, dar lucrativă, functională, neavând nimic extatic.
Facem o ultimă încercare la grota Sfântului Ioan Botezătorul de la En Karem si surpriză portile manastirii sunt deschise si pasim cu sfială si prudentă. Trăirile avute in Grota lui Ioan Botezătorul sunt greu de descris. Acolo ni s-a dat ceva de făcut, asa după cum promisesem cândva că voi face si apoi am uitat.
Sfântul Ioan Botezătorul este prezent în toată forta si splendoarea sa. Cu limbajul său categoric mă face să mă simt mic de tot si să îmi doresc să găsesc un colt unde să mă ascund. Dar nu poti si nici nu ai voie. Trebuie sa iti asumi greselile trecutului si să iti duci la indeplinire promisiunile.
”Fă ceea ce ai promis!” – vorbele sfântului îmi răsună mereu ca un ecou în urechi. Trebuie!
